POSITION PURPOSE
 
Qualify new prospects for the Quick & Small Format Offset Printers, increase profitable sales growth, open new accounts and generate profitable sales through prospecting via telephone. Develop and manage the existing account base.

DESIRED EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE
 
 
 
·         Post secondary education or equivalent experience in a distribution environment required.
·         Knowledge of fine papers and related products.
·         Previous customer service/sales support experience required.
 
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
 
 
 
 
 
 
·        Familiar with web ordering process.
·        Familiar with contact manager software.
·        Strong knowledge of vendors and products.
·        Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
·        Possess market awareness, industry knowledge and trends.

·         Develop and manage an account base, utilizing consultative selling skills.
·         Develop target accounts and growth strategies, specific needs analysis and new product introductions.
·         Respond to inquiries from external customers and ensure profitable customer service. Accurately process the sales transaction while adhering to Customer Stratification Program. Provide superior customer service and follow-up to existing account base and specified growth potential accounts.
·         Assist/encourage customers to place their orders using the web.
·         Meet sales and gross profit delivery targets as set by management, on a quarterly basis for specified strata groups.
·         Maintain customer files/database and profiles.
·         Maintain cost (special pricing) information for supplier products that will allow us to respond to inquiries quickly.
·         Arrange for the shipment of samples to customers as requested.
·         Keep up to date with market changes, customer changing needs, new product availability, tools and technology as it relates to customer service.
