REWINDER/PACKER  OPERATOR
(2 Contract positions)
 
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Converting Department

POSITION PURPOSE
 
 
·         A self motivated team player who can be an active part of our Converting department in the areas of rewinding and packaging.
REPORTS TO
 
Distribution and Converting Manager
DIRECT REPORTS
 
None
DESIRED EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE
 
·         Secondary School Graduate or related experience
·         Previous converting experience preferred
 
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
 
 
·         Previous experience on converting equipment i.e.: rewinder / slitter;
·        Use of various measurement tools i.e.: tape measure, micrometer;
·        Computer literate and knowledge of WMS systems an asset.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 
 
·         Rewind paper and other material to specifications;
·         Package and label finished products; 
·         Be familiar with ISO Policies and Procedures;
·         Related converting duties.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, however are subject to change with notice. It is essential the incumbent in this position be flexible regarding their work hours and willing to work extended hours if necessary.
